RESULTS ACROSS SUBJECTS

The ability is already there. Let’s turn it into results.

We identify what is holding each learner back, clarify exactly what to study, and build consistent habits that lead to better grades and test scores—across subjects, not only Japanese.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Before you join

Can children join from outside Japan?+

Yes. Lessons are online and open to learners in Japan and abroad. We confirm suitable times, including time-zone differences, after you contact us.

Is it suitable for a complete beginner?+

Yes. A1 welcomes first-time learners. We consider spoken Japanese, literacy, school year, and goals together before choosing a starting point from A1 to C3.

Can adults join?+

Yes. Adults, including first-time learners, may join when their Japanese level and goals fit an existing course. You can also ask about daily life, work, JLPT, or interview goals.

Can a parent and child learn together?+

Depending on the class and topic, we may suggest learning from the same material together. Not every lesson is a joint family class, so please tell us what you hope to do during the first consultation.

Can I join even if the school stage does not match my age?+

Yes. The school stages shown are guides to material difficulty, not age limits. We choose the level based on Japanese ability and goals.

Do you offer JLPT preparation?+

Yes. A1 to C3 show approximate JLPT levels, and C1 can include preparation tailored to the level you plan to take.

Can I study Japanese for work or interviews?+

Yes. Depending on your Japanese and goals, C1 to C3 can cover organising opinions, interviews, written expression, and news reading.

Can international-school students join?+

Yes. Courses support learners who speak Japanese at home, want stronger literacy, need to bridge gaps with Japanese schoolwork, or are preparing for returnee admissions.

How often are lessons held?+

Each course meets once a week for 60 minutes. Learners may take more than one course when different skills or goals need support.

Can parents contact COCORO in English?+

Yes. Enquiries are welcome in English or Japanese. The form asks about age, school setting, Japanese experience, and preferred contact times.

Are there enrolment or textbook fees?+

There are no enrolment, facility, digital-material, or renewal fees. Families only cover their own printing costs when a material needs to be printed.

What happens if my child is absent?+

Please contact us as early as possible. Rescheduling is discussed individually according to availability and circumstances, with flexibility for sudden illness and emergencies.

May we share lesson materials with others?+

Materials are for the enrolled learner’s personal study. They may not be reposted, redistributed, made public, or sold. Please see Lesson information in the footer for details.
